Salesforce Loyalty Management Accredited Professional Practice Exam

A cumulative promotion is designed to reward members based on their total or overall transaction history, rather than on individual transactions or short-term activities. This characteristic encourages long-term engagement and transactions, as members are motivated to increase their spending or accumulation of points over time to reach certain thresholds for rewards.

By focusing on the overall transaction history, such promotions foster loyalty among members, as they see their past efforts recognized and rewarded. It also aligns with the goal of Loyalty Programs, which is to maintain and enhance customer relationships by incentivizing continued patronage.

Other options do not encapsulate the essence of cumulative promotions. While they might suggest alternative promotional strategies—such as targeting new members, limiting usage to a single instance, or not requiring behavior tracking—they do not reflect the fundamental principle of rewarding cumulative activity over time.
